Perplexed..............

Well I have a dilema, trivial as it may be and today I would like to ask for you help. These canisters have been sitting empty on my countertop now for about 3 months......I would really like to see them full, but I don't want it to be with the normal stuff ie. (sugar, flour, brown sugar). I would love your ideas on fun things to fill them with that will still be practical !

Here's a few tips for the day:

  • if you have fruit that isn't ripe yet and you want it to be stick it in a paper bag with an apple, the more ripe the apple is the faster the other fruit will ripen.

  • If you make your own baby food, make it then freeze it in ice cube trays then pop a few out whenever you need a serving size for baby.

  • Costco baby wipes work just as good for cleaning around the house as expensive cleaning wipes, but for a fraction of the cost.
I also thought I would share a pic of my wonderful hubby with you, isn't he dreamy :)

Stay tuned!

  1. I have 4 similar ones. I filled them with items that we use in our household frequently: rice, pasta, walnuts, Cheerios. The contents aren't very bright (unless I get tri-colored pasta) but I can see how much is left at a glance.

I originally intended to store coffee beans in one but I think it's strong smell would not allow for anything else in the future if I changed my mind.

You can use anything that is dry: loose tea, tea bags, nuts, cereals, crackers, granola, oatmeal, etc.
